Glasgow has an amazing musical heritage thanks to
stalwarts such as Primal Scream, Franz Ferdinand plus
Belle and Sebastian. The city is gaining international
recognition as a centre of cutting-edge contemporary
art and Glasgow's School of Art attracts an
international mix of students who rock this city when
they are out to play.
Away from the city centre, a three storey warehouse
beside The River Clyde - a former Customs & Excise
building - offers 35 spacious studios to emerging
artists. It is quickly becoming a haven for recent
graduates. It feels like Berlin back in the 90s, NYC's
SoHo back in the early 80s, but the art is very now.
